Well it was just another day and it was time for Nahla's yearly update on her shots and a check up. Nothing major, just an average day....
It'a always a task getting Nahla (my chocolate lab), to the vet. You see she hates car rides. Either she had a bad experience of some sort (before we got her) or she get's motion sickness, we are not really sure. See we did not get her until she was 2 so we did not raise her from a puppy...
But.....as soon as that car starts moving it's like I have an out of control puppy on my hands! I call it "squirrelly mode" meaning she does not see anything or hear anything....she just yelps and barks uncontrollably. So needless to say one of us has to sit in the back and try to calm her down. (yes we know we have to work on this), but wow headache at the end of that car ride!! lol!!
So we finally arrive at the vet and we go in to see the doctor. As time goes on I think Nahla is getting more and more scared of the vet because the last time we brought her there she peed on the floor, and this time she peed on the bed. So ya...that's what I am guessing. Anyways she get's all of her shots and her nails clipped and so on, the regular routine.
We had noticed a lump on her back knee area and it was small and so we wanted to get it checked out to be sure of course right? So the doctor took a biopsy of it. He came back and said that is was just a fatty lump and that it is nothing to worry about. Yeah what a relief to hear that!! So my hubby stayed to pay the bill and I went outside with Nahla thinking everything is great now!! Well little did I know the doctor called my boyfriend into the examining room......
